AstraZeneca sought to convince COPD patients to recognize signs, symptoms and the need for enhanced treatment. Its digital ecosystem relied on a website, online video, and social and audio media. The company tapped its existing “Save Your Breath” community of 200,000 patients to drive home its COPD flare-up protection message. “Listen to Your Lungs” reached more than 57 million people between August 2020 and the first quarter of 2021. The campaign’s “Flare-Up Quiz: Know the Facts” generated 80,000 completions.
