Women face the prospect of early onset breast cancer amid gaps in screening. ACOG wanted to reduce these gaps via a continuing medical education course that would educate providers on the risks. It promoted “Don’t Lump Your Patients Together” via digital and social media advertising, sponsored content, search engine marketing, digital display ads and Medscape e-newsletters. The results: The campaign reached 226,000 providers and secured 1,844 course registrations with a paid media budget of under $110,000.
