Gregory became CEO of the seven-hospital system Jan. 1 after an already impressive career that included being a chief nursing officer and chief operating officer, as well as a CEO of individual hospitals. During her time as CEO of St. Francis Healthcare in Memphis, Tenn., for instance, she launched the city’s first Medicare accountable care organization. In 2017, she was named a champion of diversity by the Tennessee Hospital Association.
