President and CEO,
Yale New Haven Health System
Borgstrom has led the academic-affiliated organization for 15 years. With revenues exceeding $5.5 billion, it is Connecticut’s largest health system. She’s played a key role in helping the region respond to the coronavirus pandemic. In March, she was asked by Gov. Ned Lamont to form a health system response team which would work with state officials on everything from allocation of technology and personnel to supply chain issues. “If we are to be successful in fighting the spread of COVID-19, we need to work together across regions and across health care systems,” Borgstrom said at the time.
