After nearly two decades at the Mayo Clinic, Decker joined Optum in 2019. Among other things, he oversees ambulatory care, behavioral Health, population health and consumer offerings at Optum. In the spring, Optum acquired naviHealth, which manages post-acute healthcare services, and AbleTo, a provider of virtual behavioral healthcare services. During an earnings call in July, Decker said that both acquisitions offer excellent opportunities to expand Optum’s capabilities.
