Dr. David Feinberg
Feinberg, formerly CEO of Geisinger, is in a position to disrupt healthcare at the technology giant and has assembled a high-powered team to assist him in trying to do so. In late October, for example, Google Health and Mayo Clinic launched a joint research project to study whether artificial intelligence can automate aspects of radiation therapy. But as with everything surrounding Google, concerns grew over the summer as the company began building COVID-19 exposure notification technology. "We have to make sure people feel comfortable in what we’re doing," Feinberg, said during the Virtual Summit on Health System Recovery from the COVID-19 Pandemic in July.
