In her role as corporate CNO, Englebright leads a team of roughly 94,000 nurses across. In early 2020, HCA partnered with the Center for Generational Kinetics to assess the needs and motivations of millennial and Gen Z nurses. It’s critical, Englebright said in a news release, that health systems not just attract top-flight talent, but “empower” them to succeed. Earlier this year, HCA also bought a majority stake in the company that owns Galen College of Nursing.
