Farrugia was part of panel of healthcare leaders that met with the Trump administration’s Coronavirus Task Force early on to discuss the industry’s response to the pandemic. Mayo Clinic and Farrugia came under criticism in late April when Vice President Mike Pence visited patients at the Rochester hospital without wearing a face mask.
