Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey had seen its brand recognition drop over the past few years. To reverse the trend, the insurer developed a $2.6 million brand advertising campaign. The “That’s How Blue Works For You” campaign adopted some ideas from a national Blue Cross Blue Shield Association strategy around Medicare. The campaign had solid results, including 62,000 website visits, a seven-point rise in net promoter scores, 21 point rise in J.D. Power’s member satisfaction index.
