More than 1 in 10 Americans develop a thyroid disease during their lifetime, but most are unaware of the condition. The American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists wanted to increase awareness of thyroid disease by reaching 100 million people with key campaign messages. The “Up To Here” campaign used social graphics, videos, traditional media, as well as campaign-branded bowties, which were sent to top-tier and consumer reporters. The campaign reached 265 million people and drew nearly 140,000 website sessions.
