Faulkner continues to push Epic to meet user demands on population health, information exchange and social determinants. Epic demoed a prototype of its own virtual assistant at the annual User Group Meeting in August. The system can listen in on a patient encounter and complete a note after a physician says “Hey, Epic, write my note" and could be broadly released in three to five years. Faulkner was also named a "luminary" on Modern Healthcare's Top 25 Women Executive Leaders in 2019.
