Ramsey was a nurse and attorney focused on bioethics, advance care planning and end-of-life care. She joined Johns Hopkins School of Nursing last year. Ramsey further promotes the school’s diversity and inclusion, which is evident as the organization received the 2019 HEED Award from INSIGHT Into Diversity magazine. Ramsey is also the senior advisor of Hartford Geriatric Institute at New York University Rory Meyers College of Nursing.
