Clancy first joined the Veterans Health Administration in 2014. Last July, Clancy was named VHA’s deputy under secretary for health for discovery, education & affiliate networks. Clancy has had multiple leadership roles in where she has led efforts across VHA to tackle the opioid crisis including the adoption of a decision-support technology. This year, Clancy will lead efforts to boost performance at lower-performing facilities.
