In December 2018, CoxHealth announced its plans to build a brand new $42 million hospital in Monett, Mo., replacing the current facility that was built in 1953. The 75,000-square-foot critical access hospital will be situated along Highway 60 on the eastern edge of Monett. When complete, it will offer an enhanced Emergency Department, multiple operating rooms, and an attached office building that will house physician clinics. Estimated completion date is spring of 2021.
