Lassiter became CEO of Henry Ford Health System early last year after spending two years as president. 2017 wasn't just a year of expansion at the system, but also growth in its influence on the city's economic revival. Lassiter led the groundbreaking of the six-story, 187,000-square-foot Brigitte Harris Cancer Pavilion at Henry Ford Hospital, expected to open in 2020. The $155 million project is the first major expansion on the Henry Ford campus in more than two decades.
