Davis is passionate about addressing social determinants of health. She created and leads RWJBarnabas’ social impact and community investment department. The department aims to address social factors in vulnerable communities, everything from housing and transportation to food insecurity and education. Under Davis’ leadership, RWJBarnabas became New Jersey’s first hospital-based SNAP vendor, increasing the opportunity for beneficiaries to gain access to healthy foods. She also led relief efforts to hospitals in Puerto Rico following Hurricane Maria. And she established a Women’s Leadership Alliance within the health system to promote gender equity.
