President and CEO,
Pullin took over one of New Jerseys largest not-for-profit health systems in September 2017. Previously, he was president at Baltimores MedStar Harbor Hospital. Both at MedStar and now at Virtua, Pullin seeks out opportunities to address unmet community needs, like behavioral health. While at MedStar, he oversaw the opening of an $8 million, 33,000-square-foot inpatient behavioral health center. Hes continuing that commitment in New Jersey, where Virtua recently expanded services for patients with behavioral health issues. For instance, Virtua-Berlin in December partnered with Legacy Treatment Services to offer 24-hour mental health assessment and stabilization services. This allows patients to get appropriate care in their community.
