Slubowski has been president and COO of Trinity Health since 2017. Nearly seven months after coming on board, Trinity combined St. Joseph Mercy Health System and Mercy Health into one organization serving Michigan. The newly formed system includes 10 hospitals and employs nearly 22,500 staff. Parent organization Trinity Health operates 94 hospitals in 22 states and employs about 131,000. It has annual operating revenue of $17.6 billion and assets of about $24.7 billion. Prior to serving in his current role, Slubowski was CEO of SCL Health in Broomfield, Colo., for seven years. He has more than 40 years of experience in hospital management.
