Golden has been COO of Geisinger Health Plan since 2016. She is responsible for management, process improvement and planning within the organization. Geisinger Health Plan serves approximately 540,000 members in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maine and New Jersey. Prior to becoming COO, Golden served as chief administrative officer for Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton, Pa., where she was responsible for the overall operations of the hospital, a 293-bed community hospital with a Level 2 trauma center. Golden serves on the board of directors for the Pennsylvania Trauma Systems Foundation and the Children's Advocacy Center of Northeastern Pennsylvania.
