Wilbanks has been executive vice president and COO of Baptist Health since 2004. The institution operates five hospitals, a 142-member physician primary-care network, a home health agency and a behavioral health program. Wilbanks first joined Baptist Health in 1986 as vice president of professional services and has held number of different roles, including being named senior vice president in 1990. During his tenure as COO, Baptist Health has expanded with the addition of an 88-bed hospital and an $84 million fully digital medical center.
