Although he's retiring at the end of the year, Noseworthy is hardly a lame duck executive. The system just went live with Epic's electronic health record system at its flagship hospital in Rochester, Minn., all part of a $1.5 billion rollout across the system. Noseworthy said the EHR will help Mayo not only improve operations, but continue to expand such programs as population health management. Mayo reported revenue of $3.1 billion in the first quarter of 2018, compared with $2.9 billion for the same period last year. The clinic has construction projects worth nearly $660 million in the pipeline.
