Responding to Miller's call for all staff to be heroes in any way they can, UHS employees acted quickly to help people find respite and shelter in communities devastated during last year's hurricane season, especially in the wake of hurricanes Harvey and Irma. In Las Vegas, UHS staff rallied to care for victims of the mass shooting at a country music concert. Miller is strong advocate for linking physical and mental health and thus caring for the whole patient.
