Minnesota's Hospitals: Strengthening Healthy Communities

The Minnesota Hospital Association sought to address key health issues impacting residents across the state. Part of the goal was to change the public's perception of issues like addiction and activating grassroots advocates to encourage statewide solutions in the Legislature. In March 2018, the campaign focused on legislation aimed at the opioid epidemic. The marketing effort helped spur residents to send lawmakers more than 351 emails in support of increased funding for hospitals. Over 180 new advocates signed up to support the continued efforts of Minnesota's hospitals to address the opioid crisis. Three main videos in this series were viewed over 65,000 times, totaling 26,684 minutes of view time.
