Premier Health, based in Dayton, Ohio, looked for a way to localize and personalize health-related news for its community. That led to the creation of Premier Health Now. The health system gathered a team of internal subject matter experts who were willing to be called upon on short notice for their expertise and post information immediately. Throughout 2017, Premier Health Now hosted 71 blog posts, generating at least one per week. Topics ranged from the #MeToo movement to fidget spinners and the solar eclipse. Premier Health Now garnered more than 23,900 page views during the year. The site also contributed to an 8.5% increase in Facebook followers.
