Despite serving more than 2.1 million Medi-Cal members, L.A. Care Health Plan lacked brand awareness in Los Angeles County. Integrated marketing campaigns were launched utilizing a mix of TV, print, billboards, transit shelters, bus advertising, digital banners, public relations, metro station takeovers and video content. Landing pages were also created on LACare.org and LACareCovered.org to drive people to the right plan. The campaigns generated hundreds of millions of impressions. The campaign landing pages were the fourth most visited on LACare.org. Enrollment numbers spiked, too.
