UnitedHealthcare set out to help people better navigate their Medicare decision-making. The strategy was rooted in the idea to be clear, simple and direct in messaging: Medicare alone doesn't cover everything, while highlighting the tangible benefits of the company's product and what it can do for the customer. UnitedHealthcare saw a 5% increase year-over-year in the number of individuals targeted, at a lower overall spend while targeting prospects as opportunities allowed via data triggers and models.
