Forese is responsible for all of the medical center's operations and for implementing its patient-centered approach to care. She first joined New York-Presbyterian Hospital in 2003 as vice president of medical affairs and served in other executive roles before being promoted to her current positions. Forese, a pediatric orthopedic surgeon, has been a Columbia faculty member since 1993.
