During her five years as president and CEO of KentuckyOne Health, Brinkley has amassed an impressive resume of achievements. She is credited with the successful rollout of KentuckyOne, formed through the 2012 merger of Louisville, Ky.-based Jewish Hospital & St. Mary's HealthCare and Lexington, Ky.-based St. Joseph's Health System. She also brokered a joint operating agreement that year, which brought University of Louisville facilities onboard as affiliates of KentuckyOne. The organizations agreed last year to end the agreement but will continue academic ties. Brinkley also has long been a champion of using technology to improve operations and expand services, including telemedicine and electronic health records.
