Wallace has served as executive vice president and COO at Kindred since February 2015. The post-acute giant operates nearly 2,700 healthcare settings in 46 states, including 82 long-term acute-care hospitals and 19 rehabilitation hospitals, as well as nursing facilities and home health/hospice sites. Before joining Kindred, Wallace was CEO of RegionalCare Hospital Partners, a Brentwood, Tenn.-based operator of community hospitals, for almost eight years. He previously served as president and COO of Vanguard Health Systems, where he helped develop the company's integrated-care market strategy. Earlier he held leadership roles at Province Healthcare Co., Tenet Healthcare Corp. and HCA Holdings.
