Dr. Sachin Jain is CEO at CareMore Health System, an innovative health plan and care delivery system based in Cerritos, Calif., with more than 100,000 members that is part of Anthem. He is also consulting professor of medicine at the Stanford University School of Medicine. Before being promoted to the top job, Jain served as CareMore's chief medical officer for about a year. Previously, Jain was chief medical information and innovation officer at pharma giant Merck & Co. From 2009 to 2011, Jain worked in the Obama administration, where he was senior adviser to Dr. Donald Berwick when he led the CMS and was the first deputy director for policy and programs at the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation.
