Dr. Ralph de la Torre is the founder, chairman and CEO of Steward Health Care System, an integrated healthcare provider based in Boston that was launched in 2010. It now has 10 hospital campuses, more than 3,000 physicians, insurance programs, home care and a number of other post-acute services. De la Torre was previously CEO of the Cardiovascular Institute at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston and of Cardiovascular Management Associates, one of the nation's first totally integrated systems for treating cardiac patients.
