Lassiter took over as CEO of Henry Ford Health System in January, overseeing a $5.5 billion health system comprising six hospitals, a health plan and a wide range of ambulatory and retail health services with more than 60 clinical locations and 28,000 employees. He had served as a system president since 2014 and has worked closely with the organization's leadership team on a comprehensive strategic planning effort, including mergers with HealthPlus in Flint, Mich., and Allegiance Health in Jackson, Mich. In 2016, Lassiter was named to the American Hospital Association's board of trustees.
