Johnson & Johnson Medical Device Cos. set out to retool its business model in 2016. Executives knew that to be successful, they needed the support of employees. OneMD was developed to inspire 53,000 JJMDC employees across three franchises and multiple geographies to unify under a singular strategy. To maximize efficiencies and change the way employees conducted business, JJMDC pledged to reduce costs by $200 million. Most importantly, the campaign sought to make it personal by acknowledging that leaders had listened to employees, reminding employees why they chose to enter the industry, and connecting individual goals with OneMD's goals.
