Central precocious puberty is a rare disease in which young children go through puberty too early--girls under the age of 8, boys under the age of 9. Some children can show signs of puberty as young as 2 years old. In developing this campaign, AbbVie and LiquidHub officials put themselves in the parents' shoes and created a disease awareness site designed based on questions they would ask. Could my child be going through puberty too soon? Does early puberty need to be treated? How do I make sure that my child gets an appropriate treatment? By simplifying the site into three buckets, parents can easily navigate and understand actions needed to help their child. There are interactive tools, along with links to find an endocrinologist and AbbVie's treatment option as well.
