DeVore, 56, has been president and CEO of Premier, a publicly traded healthcare supply-chain and performance services company, since 2009. She is chair of the board of trustees of the Healthcare Leadership Council and a member of the Institute of Medicine's Roundtable on Value & Science-Driven Healthcare, in addition to other board roles. Premier has won numerous awards for innovation during her tenure. Under DeVore's leadership, the company became the first hospital-owned group purchasing organization to go public in the fourth-largest healthcare IPO in 2013. As part of her focus on mentoring and diversity, DeVore created a chief diversity officer position and established a diversity council at the organization.
