Osteen, 59, is senior vice president at Universal Health Services, as well as president of its behavioral- health division. Universal operates acute-care and psychiatric hospitals. In her roles, she oversees the division's growth strategy, including takeover deals such as Universal's $3.3 billion acquisition of Psychiatric Solutions in 2010. Under her leadership, the number of UHS behavioral-health hospitals has grown from 23 to more than 225. She joined the company in 1984, working her way up to president of the behavioral-health division in 1999 and senior VP in 2005.
