Dr. Rodney Hochman, 59, has been president and CEO of Providence Health & Services, a Catholic not-for-profit system based in Renton, Wash., since 2013. He has led the 34-hospital organization's move toward population-health management through improvements in technology and new delivery models. Under his leadership, Providence launched a venture capital fund to invest $150 million into the development of consumer-driven healthcare technology. Before his current role, he was president and CEO of Seattle-based Swedish Health Services, which merged with Providence. He also served as executive vice president of Sentara Healthcare, a health system based in Norfolk, Va.
