Dr. Lynn Simon is president of clinical services and chief quality officer at Community Health Systems, now the country's largest chain by hospital count since its merger last year with Health Management Associates. In her role, Simon, 55, oversees all clinical operations, including nursing, quality and safety, and case management. She joined Franklin, Tenn.-based Community in 2010 after serving as senior vice president and chief medical officer at Jewish Hospital & St. Mary's HealthCare in Louisville, Ky., where she was also a practicing neurologist.
