Dr. Glenn Steele Jr. will retire as president and CEO of Geisinger Health System in June. Steele, 70, will step down after more than 14 years as chief executive of the $2.5 billion organization. He joined the Danville, Pa.-based system from the University of Chicago, where he was dean of Pritzker School of Medicine and the division of biological sciences. Steele is board chairman of the Geisinger spinoff xG Health Solutions, a health information technology and population health consulting company.
