National Association of Health Services Executives
Last year was a good one for Rodney Miller, 35. He was installed as the president of the National Association of Health Services Executives, and he became administrator of 690-bed Memorial Regional Hospital, in Hollywood, Fla., in December. Before arriving at Memorial Regional, he spent five years in the U.S. Virgin Islands, where as president and CEO of Schneider Regional Medical Center he helped double its revenue, build a $20 million cancer institute, and improve the hospital’s patient-satisfaction levels. He was the first alumnus of the Institute for Diversity in Health Management’s summer enrichment program to reach the rank of hospital CEO.
