Twenty-seven breast cancer survivors took to the runway in Baton Rouge, La., recently for the Bust Breast Cancer Bra Art Fashion Show.
Clad in elaborate bras created by local artists, the models helped raise more than $254,000 for the breast cancer outreach program at Woman's Hospital. After the runway show, the creations were auctioned off, with the highest bid of $500 going to “Va Va Va Veuve,” inspired by Veuve Clicquot champagne.
One outfit paid tribute to pioneering aviator Amelia Earhart, while others had gladiator, floral and animal themes. Woman's Hospital has been holding the fundraiser since 2014.
