Tenet Healthcare Corp. announced Wednesday it has hired a new chief information officer and chief marketing officer, both of which report directly to CEO Ron Rittenmeyer.
Paola Arbour is Dallas-based Tenet's new CIO. She was most recently the president of the software development and managed-services company ProV International's ServiceNow business unit. Prior to that, she was ServiceNow's vice president of professional services delivery, leading more than 400 technical and process specialists. Arbour has more than 30 years of experience in information technology operations, and worked for Dell Services and Electronic Data Systems.
Marie Quintana is Tenet's new chief marketing officer. She joins the for-profit hospital chain from the Quintana Group, where she served as CEO. She also worked at PepsiCo for 14 years, most recently as senior vice president of multicultural sales and marketing. Prior to PepsiCo, Quintana worked at Perot Systems and IBM.
Rittenmeyer wrote in a statement that Arbour brings significant expertise in IT operations, while Quintana has a multidimensional skill set that includes building consumer-centric strategies.
"As we continue to make progress on strengthening every aspect of operations and company culture, we look forward to contributions from new leaders like Paola and Marie, who will bring fresh viewpoints and add tremendous value," he said.
