Mary Kingston will join PeaceHealth on July 30 as chief executive of the Catholic health system's Oregon market.
Kingston will replace Rand O'Leary, who left the Vancouver, Wash.-based organization in April. PeaceHealth Oregon includes four hospitals, which are part of the system's 10-hospital network spanning urban and rural communities throughout the Northwest.
"I'm truly committed to the areas of performance excellence, physician relations and financial stability, and my focus in this work is grounded in the values of respect, teamwork, compassion, and servant leadership," Kingston said in a statement.
Previously, Kingston was the chief executive of two Providence St. Joseph Health hospitals in California, where she helped recruit specialists and implement a new management structure.
Kingston has also been a chief operating officer, vice president of performance improvement and clinical excellence, assistant vice president of quality, and director of nursing.
PeaceHealth employs about 16,000 caregivers and runs a medical group practice with more than 900 physicians.
