Evergreen Cooperative Laundry is taking over management of Cleveland Clinic's laundry facility in the city's Collinwood neighborhood, an expansion that brings more than 100 new employees into ECL.

The additional location joins ECL's original facility in Glenville, where 50 workers are employed.
"This expansion validates the core idea at the heart of the Evergreen model—that businesses owned by workers can succeed and thrive in the market, helping close the wealth gap," Brett Jones, executive vice president at the Evergreen Cooperatives, said in a prepared statement.
