Who: Bruce Lawrence
Retiring as: President and CEO of Oklahoma City-based Integris Health, effective at year's end. He will stay on as a senior adviser to the board chairman, focusing on philanthropy and outside operations. Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Chris Hammes will take over on an interim basis while a national search for a permanent replacement takes place.
Background: Lawrence joined Integris in 2000. He served as president of Integris Baptist Medical Center and Integris Southwest Medical Center before becoming CEO of the larger system in 2010.
Overseeing growth: During Lawrence's tenure, Integris Health Partners, which includes 1,200 physicians, grew into Oklahoma's largest clinically integrated network. He also led efforts to make Integris the state's only Mayo Clinic Care Network member.
