Byron supports hospitals, physician groups, health plans, and employers to improve overall healthcare and clinical performance with quality and leadership initiatives using health analytics. He also serves as a board member for Truven's Quality Improvement Organization-Like Entity and is a member of the Provider Safety Committee.
Before joining Truven Health, Dr. Scott worked for EmCare, a physician practice management company, for over 20 years in various roles including Site Medical Director, Director of Medical Program Development, and Regional Medical Director. Most recently, he was the Executive Vice President in the West Division where he managed the Client Services Teams for 140 hospital contracts (Hospitalist, Anesthesia, Emergency Medicine) with responsibility for both financial and clinical quality initiatives.
David Jackson

David Jackson brings more than 20 years of experience in healthcare informatics and analytics from both the provider and the payer perspective to Truven Health Analytics' Provider Healthcare Reform Strategic Consulting Services practice.
Prior to joining Truven Health, he served as the director of health care analytics for Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, where he led the corporate analytics and business intelligence organization. He also worked for the Iowa, Nebraska and Illinois CMS Quality Improvement Organization and Unity Health System in Rochester, New York. Mr. Jackson holds a Master of Science degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of South Carolina, in Columbia, South Carolina and a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Promotion from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
