Christus Health has named Chris Glenney as senior vice president of group operations for the system and CEO of Christus Health Northeast Texas.
Glenney replaced Lindsey Bradley, who retired last month after nearly 36 years at the organization, and will lead Christus Trinity Mother Frances Health System, Christus St. Michael Health System and Christus Good Shepherd Health System. Glenney has been president and CEO of Christus Trinity Mother Frances since March, but has been with the system 1998.
"I'm proud of what we've accomplished at Christus Trinity Mother Frances during my 20 years here, and I look forward to continuing to build an integrated healthcare delivery system worthy of our mission," Glenney said in a statement.
Glenney earned his undergraduate degree in biomedical sciences from Texas A&M University before completing his master's in healthcare administration from Trinity University.
Catholic-sponsored Christus Health, which operates more than 60 hospitals, reported $300 million in operating income last year on revenue of $4.14 billion. It recently secured a deal with Ochsner Health System for a joint venture to operate hospitals and physician practices in Lake Charles, La.
