Lindsey Bradley, CEO of the Christus Health Northeast Texas region, announced his retirement Friday after more than 36 years at the health system.
The Northeast Texas region includes Christus Trinity Mother Frances Health System, Christus St. Michael Health System and Christus Good Shepherd Health System.
Most recently, Bradley was the CEO of Tyler, Texas-based Christus Trinity Mother Frances Health System, which includes eight hospitals. Chris Glenney took over his role in March. Trinity Mother Frances Health System was acquired last year by Christus Health, which has 50 hospitals and long-term care facilities.
Christus Health is still looking for a replacement to lead the Northeast Texas region.
"No leader, in healthcare or any other field, can do any of this alone. It has always been my strategy to surround myself and fill this organization with intelligent, capable, passionate people," Bradley said in a statement.
Bradley joined the organization in 1981. During his tenure, Bradley helped Christus Trinity Mother Frances Health System establish the region's first cardiac program and led the provider through its mergers with Trinity Clinic and Christus Health.
