Dr. George Brown is retiring as the longtime president and CEO of Legacy Health, based in Portland, Ore. A successor is expected to be selected by year-end.

Brown
Brown has led Legacy Health since 2008. During his tenure, Legacy Health grew from six to eight hospitals, and he helped create Health Share of Oregon, the state's largest coordinated-care collaborative.
Before joining Legacy, Brown served as COO of MultiCare Health System, based in Tacoma, Wash.

Campbell
Gary Campbell will step down as CEO of Centura Health, based in Centennial, Colo., effective Sept. 1. He will be succeeded by Peter Banko, who's currently president and COO of the system.
Campbell will assume a new leadership position at Centura that is focused on leadership development and healthcare optimization.
He joined Centura as CEO in July 2008. Previously, Campbell was senior VP and group executive officer of Catholic Health Initiatives, Englewood, Colo. In that role, he was responsible for 27 hospitals across five states.

Briggs
Vicki Briggs has been named president and CEO of St. Vincent's Medical Center, an Ascension facility based in Bridgeport, Conn., effective July 1. She succeeds Vincent Caponi, who is retiring.
Briggs is currently COO at St. Vincent's. Previously she was executive VP and COO of St. Vincent's Health System in Birmingham, Ala., also part of Ascension.
Dr. Christopher Clark has been named president of St. Vincent Hospital, an Allegheny Health Network facility in Erie, Pa. He replaces Scott Whalen, who is retiring.
Clark most recently was medical director of Highmark. He has held several other leadership roles at St. Vincent over the past decade, including senior VP of medical affairs, chief quality officer, associate chief medical officer and director of continuing medical education.
Steve Ralph is retiring after 22 years as president and CEO of Huntington Hospital in Pasadena, Calif. A successor will be named by the end of 2017 or early 2018. He plans to remain with the organization as a strategic adviser.
Ralph joined Huntington in 1984 as a VP and was named CEO in 1995. During his tenure, Huntington added a new patient tower and doubled the capacity in its emergency department and trauma center.
