Catholic Health Initiatives has appointed Matt Grimshaw as market chief executive officer of its affiliate CHI Trinity Health System.
Grimshaw, 42, will begin leading the not-for-profit Steubenville, Ohio-based system on July 31, taking over from interim CEO Joseph Tasse. Tasse has led the system since June 2016. The CHI Trinity employs more than 230 physicians in its network.
Grimshaw has served as the west region president of CHI St. Alexius Health in Williston, N.D., since March. Before that, he was president of CHI St. Alexius Health-Williston for seven years. He led a $20 million campus development project and launched a rural track residency program with the University of North Dakota.
"I look forward to continuing the innovation for which CHI Trinity is known," Grimshaw said in a statement.
